Theres no single edged weapon that we can think of that can out-chop or out-cut a good Kukri. Its true that the best Kukris, like our LTC and Gurkha models, can be somewhat expensive. While those thoroughbreds perform extraordinarily well for the money that they cost, it sometimes seems that whats required is a good, inexpensive, workhorse model. Our Kukri Machetes are those workhorses. They are available in two sizes, one has a thirteen inch blade and the other, our new Magnum model has a whopping seventeen inch blade. Both are ready to plow through the toughest chores life can dish out. Each features the distinctive weight-forward balance of our top-of-the-line models, and always present their edge on an angle so theyre guaranteed to bite deep with every stroke. Additionally, they come complete with a sturdy Cordura sheath! They're a solid value, ready for long, hard work.

  • MADE IN SOUTH AFRICA

  • @1manvsworld yup.

  • What did u use to sharpen it?

  • @31w310 lots of work on rough oil stones

  • good to see a review of someone who actually used the damn thing, so many ppl buy it straight outta the pack, dont sharpen it and try and make this extensive overly critical video about how its not a "real kukri" its a great carbon steel blade for 20$ canadian, 10-15$american is a great price point and seems to kill anything else for the price

  • @Taud Yea, thanks. I have had absolutely no problems with it besides how rough the grip comes, and thats easily solved with gloves or sandpaper. Amazingly simple and effective, great for the price.

  • If you can get the (cheaper) CS Kukri or the Magnum Kukri for the same price, which would you recommend more and why? I can imagine the larger blade has it's advantage but also limiting transportability or wearability.

  • The handle is full tang. Mine has been cutting and chopping great for 10 years. I finally broke the handle after many years of throwing it. Rehandled it with heavy rubber mat. Now its even better. Flatten that edge out just like your knife and it will cut better or as good as any machete out there.

  • is made in china or in the us
