  • another great work of human LUST/LOVE

  • I would like to know who all these paintings are by and are they just coincidentally appropriate or artists' impressions on the Miraculous Mandarin? I have a dissertation on it due in 2 weeks. Just starting....

  • This is one of the great works of expressionist music from earlyb 20th century (1913 contemporary with Le Sacre Du Printemps by Stravinsky), It is contemporary with Kathe Kollwitz, Max Klinger, Kirchner,Schoenberg and Berg. George Grosz I think was closer to WWII because my professor Studied w/ him in the 50's at Yale.

  • Well, in Bartók's conception, of course, the Mandarin is allegorical...

  • Never knew that we Asians could be such a horrifying lot in the Western imagination. :)

  • George Grosz, Lovesick Man

  • Who is the artist of the painting at 2:28?

  • GREAT! Thanx a lot 4 uploading :*
