i have that the same problem how to repair that?? at first all of my songs deleted and its no songs..
second it is not turning off so i just screw up the back and remove the battery and so its turned off! but! i turned on again its like that it came a white and so on its become violet! i don't know why?? anyone who should tell me how to repair it??

Yea i got a sansa same model the e280. I thought ok cool ill download some music onto it then i unplug it,...BLAM!! it is dead as a door nail. It wont turn on, when i plus it into my computer my computer does not recognize it. Truly an unworthy piece of shit!!!!

Woah, it could be your screen, that's REALLY fucked.
Either get it fixed, contact Sansa, or ask a doctor on how to treat pink eye.

lol that happened to me to...... but somehow mine is working again...... hmm i dont recommend this but i kinda got pissed off at it and then threw it to the ground (tile) and suddenly it was working again. it still freezes up sometimes though.
