This episode of "4 Your Child's Health" features David Durand, MD, and Priscilla Joe, MD, of Neonatology. The show highlights some of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staff, patients and neonatologists, and the tiny miracles that happen in our NICU every day.

  • If doctors would better train us pre-hospital care providers more about neonates , we can help save a lot of tiny lives .

  • @Medic83301-Children's Hospital agrees-Training of EMT's and Paramedics in the stabilization and transport of neonates improves their outcomes. Our hospital transport education trains EMT's/Paramedics along with our nurses, physicians and respiratory therapist who transport neonates & the flight nurses who transport our infants via helicopter. Moving critically ill infants from birth hospital to Children's Hospital requires a strong team effort. Pre-hospital care providers are part of our team.
