Metroid Prime (GC) Part 66 - Credits + The End...?

The final part of my Metroid Prime Video Walkthrough.

The cutscenes after the credits will only show up, if you collected a certain amount of items.
Since I got all of them, all the ending cutscenes will be shown in this video.
So this is the end of Metroid Prime. A wonderful game!
But what is this black hand that comes out of the remains of Metroid Prime?
A new enemy? Find out in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. ;)

Short review:
Metroid Prime is the first 3D Metroid game and brought the mix of Shooting, Platforming and Puzzles perfectly into 3D.
It did have the better villain and story. But the sequels will do things better, apart from that.
Especially disappointing is the lack of bosses, compared to the sequels.
When you first get to Chozo Ruins, you fight a lot of bosses.
But after Flaahgra, the boss amount drops a lot. Only leaving Thardus and Omega Pirate before the final battles.
But still, Metroid Prime is an epic game, which you shouldn't miss.
A WII re-release came out in Japan. And it'll come out in USA and Europe eventually.
Either try them out or the Gamecube original. You won't regret it.


I may will start a Metroid Prime 2 Walkthrough, while I am at it.
But I don't make any promises.

I agree with scottm1211 and Y05H1ROX. Dark Samus ISN'T a pointless character. If they were going to make the Metroid Prime series happen, they had to resurrect Prime SOMEHOW, if the series was to become the popular trilogy it is today. They had a GOOD REASON to make Dark Samus.

Fine. But they also could've come up with a different idea than that.

Dark Samus IS a pointless, unoriginal character.

As are Shadow Mario, Dark Link, Evil Ryu, Shadow the Hedgehog and all the other dark versions of hero-characters.

It is an overused, unimaginative cliche.
