  • How do you like the KelTec vs your M&P sport? Are 30 round mags legal in CA with the Kel Tec? I am in CA as well and am looking in the price range of these two rifles... Thanks for the video

  • @fordfanatic325 There is no doubt that the M&P is a better rifle, but the KelTec has been 100% solid for me. If you own 30-rounders LEGALLY, they can be used in the SU16CA without issue.

  • could you take that to another state where you are taking a course and while in that state reinstall the california evil features? the schools need to have locker space for things like hicap magazines for the classes perhaps?

  • @zehnsechz Yep, you can do so legally. Just make sure that any "evil features" are removed when returning to CA.

  • How can california have a law that is in clear violation of the second amendment?

Why doesn,t someone in california challenge this law on that basis?

  • @fastacker2 We are working on it. When you are "behind enemy lines", you need to move more carefully, lol.

  • @HappyBruiser I'm sorry that the stupidity here in CA is causing you trouble, but we're on the same team here. This is the front line of battleground to keep our 2nd amendment rights. It's the proving ground for gun laws. We've basically been abandoned by the gun community and it's going to bite all gun owners in the end. Please support the people in CA who are staying and fighting the good fight.

  • I almost had a heart attack when you pulled out that 30 round mag. I'm from CA too and I worked for the DA's office breafly in a very anti-gun area. I know it's legal...you know it's legal...but who's to say that some overzealous or uninformed public servant won't try to prove otherwise. I like your videos and wouldn't want for you to get disappeared.

  • Pisses me off that gun manufacturers have to waste resources producing guns just to satisfy California bureaucrats. We are all paying higher prices because of it, whether we live in CA or not.

Keltec has a problem with screws coming loose. A screw came loose on my PF9 with less that 200rds through it and the entire gun came apart while I was shooting it.

Most users would be MUCH better of going with the M&P 15 Sport.

  • Great vid!! I live in an AWB state, I'll have to check if my local store carries these.

  • @MonsterHorrorBoy Yes, the rifle forend swings down to form a bipod. Using it may alter your point of impact though because it shifts the weight of the rifle out towards the end of the barrel. The POI on mine shifts up almost 2" at 100yds when using the forend bipod.

  • @zehnsechz Makes it easy to stowe behind a car seat or, as I use mine, in a Bug Out Bag. The Su-16C (as opposed to the CA reviewed here) has a different folding stock that both folds for minimum overall length like the A, B &CA versions as well as folds behind the pistol grip in such a way as to allow the rifle to still be fired. The CA is my preferred version.

  • The recess in the stock will also hold a standard 30rd AR magazine instead of the two Kel-tec 10 rounders. That's what I keep in mine when it's in my B.O.B..

  • Weird Laws? More like oppressive laws directed at law abiding citizens.
