This video demonstrates how to fold the origami model "Horse" that David Brill designed. Dave kindly gave me permission to make this video accessible to you.

Diagrams for this model can be found in the book "Brilliant Origami" by David Brill, on Dave's website http://www.brilliantorigami.com, and in the book "Origami for the Connoisseur" by Kunikiko Kasahara and Toshie Takahama

  • Japanzor is I think the most easier of all the tutorialists on youtube.. its easy to see the work being done and not BEING OBSCURED BY THE HANDS ALL THE TIME LOL.. mentioning no names ;o)

  • @THEGOBBLESTOP Check my more recent videos to see what my videos look like now. ;)

  • NEXT TIME USE A PAPER THAT IS NOT SHINING

  • @pritesh994 Next time try deactivating capslock. ;) -- And yes, in all videos thereafter I didn't use shiny paper anymore. The reflections are indeed very distracting.

  • what's wetfolded?? is it dipping the model into water??!!

  • "wet"folding is probably a bit misleading. At the most you dampen the paper. You can either do this before you start folding, or when you've finished the model to shape it. Once the model dries it will keep its shape better. Also, if you fold with damp paper the paper fibres won't break as easily (they are soaked with water and thus flexible), so the dried paper will usually be stronger in general. Not all paper is suitable for wetfolding, though.
