if I focus too much on the intonation, musically it begins to sound uninteresting.

I realize it's been quite some time since you posted the video, and I'm sure you've progressed greatly since this. I do have a couple of suggestions that can serve as reminders and tips for others.

First, play closer to the bridge! I'd like to hear more core sound, even when it's a quiet passage. Second, it's hard to tell, but at times it seems like your bow motion is coming from your wrist, rather than your forearm. Keep it looser. :-) Best of luck to you!

Im working on playing near the bridge right now. And I think it's getting better. Now I play Shostakovich concerto, so i really need to play there ;-)

Ive never thought about my wrist. But I realized that I don't use my forearm as much as other cellists. Maybe that's why I have problem on my elbow.

Beautiful! I play cello myself, however, I am not good at all. This is so beautiful! You have such a crisp and warm sound. Do you have any advise in working on intonation? It's allways been a problem for me, especialy in 2nd position.

This is great. I've just started on Suite VI myself so I find this a great help. My only misgiving is that I find a bit too fast but that's just my opinion. Excellent stuff.
