layered vocals isnt unique to emmure.
funny thing is i never heard emmure until like last year. and ive been listening to catalepsy since like 2004 when they had their first singer ben. they where alittle more death metal back then. they had less hardcore sound but still sounded awesome.
but they sound unique to me though, i can't think of another band when i listen to this album. all their early stuff all the way to this is awesome and unique.
