  • Hey freewaybrent you do a great job at this I am a huge highway lover i guess you can say and I have noticed all the songs you incorperate in your videos are amazing, can you do me a favor and tell me the title and artist of every song you used? Thanks.

  • @4494tyler: The song artist and title are listed at the end of every video. Hope this helps.

  • What time of year was this filmed?

  • I filmed this in late October of 2009.

  • I have an '87 RMN atlas that shows Irvine as the southern most city in O.C. Today, there are dozens of suburbs all the way to San Clemente, probably totaling over 500,000 people. But I doubt if they all commute all the way to downtown LA, right? It's just too far.

  • Heck, I know 3 people personally, that drive from South Orange County to Los Angeles on a daily basis. I have another friend (who's place I spend a lot of time at) who commutes from Irvine to Hollywood. There's gotta be tens of thousands more that drive from South OC to L.A.

You should see how many people drive from as far as Victorville along I-15, down to L.A. You're talking a good 85 to 90 miles, one-way. Or the folks that commute from Lancaster to L.A.

  • Im going to be going through this freeway next week on my way to Anaheim CA.

  • I live in San Diego and I love driving on Interstate 5 in Orange County. There are lots of turns and speeding drivers on a hurry bypassing Orange County trying to get to Los Angeles. See lots of races and close calls happen here, but this is what makes things interesting. Nice videos!

  • @JohnRhysMusician Yup, I commute to Long Beach from Irvine, CA everyday because I go to school at California State Long Beach. Traffic is usually the worst around where the 22 enters from the 405 by Seal Beach.

  • @aswchris Most people who live in Orange County also work in Orange County. Irvine, Santa Ana, and Anaheim, and to a lesser extent Lake Forest, Newport Beach, and Laguna are significant employment centres within the county. There are a minority who commute to Los Angeles County, mainly Long Beach and Downtown from my experience, and most of those folks live in the Yorba Linda/Anaheim Hills area.

  • I miss driving the I 5, nice video. good job!
