Just remind them that good fences, make good neighbors. If the fence is legal and correctly build for code and zoning, then enjoy and peace. If the neighbors can not show just cause to complain, other than they don't like it, too bad.

If the zoning laws say it's OK, then leave the fence alone. If the family owns the marina, than the people in the neighborhood were getting a free view of the water in the first place. What I can't understand is, why do the people in that neighborhood feel they have the Right to tell people what they Can and can't do WITH THEIR OWN LAND? As long as it's legal, they should leave it alone and learn to live with it. The bottom line is Neighborhoods Change. Learn to live with it, OR MOVE!!
