man, you have to push the top button for 3 sec and you can acces to your settings and you have to disable the option of oSO to oSf or something like that. and you have to insert your SD card ! for start recording or taking photos

Hey sendmedem I owe you a pint. My Gopro was locked up same as this in "one button mode" and you've solved the prob.

@sendmedem I was thinking the same thing. I would probably also go to Gopro's home page and get the latest firmware upgrade.

You're in one button mode.. One button mode is turned off by holding the top (shutter) button for several seconds then when you get to "SET" on the display, hit the shutter button again to enter the settings and turn "OnO" to "OnF" and you will be in normal mode again... read the damn manual

This happened to me too. All u have to do is hold the film button for four seconds then it will take u into the settings menu then change onO to onF. It will be fixed!!!
