USAID Egypt - Communication For Healthy Living (CHL): Al Jazeera coverage of Minya Mass Wedding

150 couples married at the same time in Minya, Egypt in September 2004 to launch the Mabrouk Initiative underscoring positive health behaviors throughout a couple's important phases of life together. The initiative and event were organized by the Government of Egypt, the U.S. Agency for International Development - USAID/Egypt, , and the Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs under the Communication for Healthy Living project (CHL).
