@andysgirl1015 the vc were good at shooting people in this situation. he was tossing a white phospjhorus grenade that bursts into flames upon contact with oxygen.At the same time a sniper shot him in the hand as he was tossing it and it exploded in his hand.

@wheelholder12 I know it was a grenade....someone below said it was a snipers bullet and I was clarifying that it was a grenade. Mr. Roever spoke at some youth conventions I attended. He is an inspiration to so many!

@andysgirl1015 it was a grenade that was shot and exploded .actually it was a white phosphorus grenade.they don't explode like the frags do.
