You're fucking right though; death metal is noisy, but only depressing if you can't come to terms with the truths of the universe. I came to check out this song because some moron said Carnifex ripped off the intro for their song "Heartless" from this. The intros don't sound alike at all, but this song is awesome so I suppose I should thank him :D
