Released July 9, 1932. A chap named George Hall was the uncredited production manager on this. We get a Rudy Vallee-in-a-box and a Tony Wons reference ("Are you listening?").

  • Boy, Tony Wons? That's so early obscure that even *I* don't know about this,. and I tend to know a lot of 1930s references in these.

  • Wons was huge in his day, probably with women; I can't see men going for his (borrowed) poetry and homilies. There are a few copies of his show (from later years) on the net. I couldn't listen to the whole thing.
