Awww memories of my first DC&TA show followed by the 4+ hour ride home in a freaking blizzard. Forgot how hot this particular performance was. And David, PLEASE give us back this hat-less hair and less of the Jimmy Neutron mega-forehead style of late. Thank you.

only the guys could say what the meaning is, but to me the words reflects the death of a relationship.
Anodyne means "healing" or something that relieves pain.

Monty joined the band on tour in July. This show was in March.

Is there anyone who has a album version with David singing this song that they could upload on Youtube? Or just the Midwest Kings version on their album.

There isn't an album version with David on vocals. It was recorded by MWK with Andy on vocals. You can download it on iTunes
