  • Damn typos B-/ **later** **you**

  • White Belt here. I train at TAPOUT in Downtown LA. We went live for 8 five minute rounds with a new opponent each time and I kept getting hit with all these leg locks. Came across this video randomly a day or two late. Went live last night and let me tell yoy, this video SAVED my ass LOL

  • @youngdrumma It all depends on what position of control they have, is it 50/50 (outside triangle), or inside like the clamp, wedge or laced up in a knee knot, or the splits. Each position has counters of its own.

  • Whats it they lock there legs around your leg to where you cant lift up.Please someone reply

  • Call me greedy then. I don't "think" I can get the mount, I know I can. I've used this same counter in international Sambo competition for years.

  • @10thPlanetRochester Ok once again the "mount" would never work, because of the preexisting position of you posting up your leg. 1/2 second is all one needs.

Its a good transition, but I think you're being to greedy if you think you can get the mount.

  • @PaperNun Its not a "mount" its part of the transition that is a "moment in time" a possible 1/2 second at best.

  • Sorry that mount would never work. That gap you're leaving with your right leg posted up, he can bring his knee through easily. Or go strait to Xguard.

  • @cifchamp147 It would just require a diffrent escape/counter.

  • If the attacker turned to face the outside of the leg that he is attacking, then it would be very difficult for the defender to stand up, no?
