The bullshit "war on xmas" was very useful for the Faux Noise talking anuses during the reign of George Bush Junior, because it got the useful idiots all riled up and distracted them from how monumentally Junior had fucked up the economy. Now that Junior is no longer in the White House, the distraction is no longer needed.

Yeppers! We got sold a bill of goods for sure!

Probably the worst thing to ever happen to Christianity was Constantine's decree of making Christianity the official religion of Rome.
Because then Christianity was hijacked by the roman elite, and turned christianity into something that so far removed from Jesus's original teachings that it became barely recognizable.

Exactly...

Really? Evangelicals sure bowed the fuck down to Bush, Reagan, and Blackwater.

huh huh huh, you said teabaggers. huh huh huh

Pseudo-conservative militants finally caught up with the 70s. They now let it all hang out as an orgiastic ritual for which teabags have become a political sacrament. The shrieks of OUTRAGE are a form of internal purging somewhat analogous to exorcisms.

OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!

Umm. I still point at Constantine. Before him, Christians beheld emperors in very dim light. It was more Christ, NOT Caesar. Since then, it has been Christ AND Caesar (i.e., God AND country, church AND state). They sold out.
Oddly enough, some Christians consider ME a "sell-out" because I tell them more truth than they like.
God, W and Iraq. Right. Sort of like God telling Paladin that there should be an Alaska pipeline.
Oh, I SERIOUSLY doubt that!
LOL!
Gil Why not a story on Billo and Law and order? I would love to hear your view on that...

The problem with the likes of O'Reilly is that it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy - his fans will now become even more OUTRAGED because of this, which increases the chances that one of them will ultimately, you know, try something.
