  • Just noticed, this was a long assed flight. Three drop tanks and one pod = long day.

  • I know this sounds stupid, but what if you need to go to the toilet? Can you at least do a number 1?

  • @PBlrmkr oops, missed the belly pod. At least I did't call it a drop tank :) Really embarrasing for an IMA AE (USMC side of the house) type.

  • The canopies used to be worth lots of money. They used to have gold in them.

  • @munkfish101 The EA6B is an electronics warfare platform. Taking care of RADAR is only a small part of that mission.

  • Anyone out there know when they will be retiring the Prowler and replacing it with the F-18 Growler?

  • @munkfish101 They use them for counter-IED operations too.

  • I'm surprised that the Navy still uses the Prowler but retired the Intruder. I read online that the Intruder could carry more ordinance than any modern Navy plane today. Bring back the A6!
