  • Why do you all have to analyse the song to bits??? Just get up and groove to it, that's what music like this is all about!! Jeeez.

  • I played your list and here's what i found, Pretty Girls was centered around the bass and saxaphone and was about 15bpms faster than word up I Just Want To Be had a 4, 4 beat while Shake Your Pants had more of a 3, 4 beat not to mention the different rifts and cord changes that each song had. I Love Music Beyound the ear, i love it down to its basic format and into its construction, each song had a diffrent grove and so when they make music there thinking of all of these things.

  • I LOVE CAMEO !!!!!!

  • I like it yes, Its Larry Blackmons group

  • i never like cameo with larry blackmon fronting them

  • @RussellAthletics you are my love

  • The feeling around Polygram, back in the day, is that had this been the lead-off single from Machismo, the album would have been a lot bigger. By the way, it was not written by "the lead singer of Van Halen" it was written by a blue-eyed-soul singer named G.Mangus, then Larry did what he does..........

  • What's the name of the song Cameo did in the early 90's like 95 or 96 The Chorus verse goes "You Are My Love I Search All Over "?

  • This is why i have always been a fan of Larry Blackmon and Cameo, this song shows that they had the right stuff. This group of music makers had the stuff to last threw the ever changing music world. Please beleave me when i say that music did not leave them the chose to leave the ever changing bad music scene. Word Up .

  • One of the better tracks from a not so great album. It must be obvious to anyone, especially long-time Cameo fans, that they were just trying too hard to repeat the success of "Word Up". They should've just did a 180 like Prince often did in his heyday.
