The pings are definitely off-putting, faithful [to the original] or not.

Maybe if the "pre-echo" of the ping were louder?

@sschafi1 I hear the pings in the original, but it almost feels like they're a bit too loud in this. Either way, amazing work with all of these!!!

Personally, the pings kinda bother me. They don't fit the orchestra all that well, and seem really distracting.

Wish for a remake with graphics like FF9 at least, but keep the writing and overall atmosphere in intact. That way, it could get more mainstream. Nah... I just really want to see my heroes in glorious 3D. Especially Terra/Tina. PS1 FMV doesn't did justice I'm afraid. Needless to say that my all-time favorite Lvl100 character in Dissidia 012 is that little esperkin girl :3

Also, I remember seeing a Limit Break from Edgar once. Never saw an LB again in FF6 :(

I agree with you man. I am currently replaying FF VI right now and the more I play it, the more I feel that FF VII copied plenty of elements from FF VI. I know they are both Final Fantasy games, but it becomes pretty obvious, (Especially to the fact that most Final Fantasy games "feel" different from one another.) Also I feel like FF VI is the strongest "non-class based" Final Fantasy game. It truly does everything right. I wish people would give FF VI more love.

Because everybody is like "OMG, FF7 was the first 3D FF, story is nothing new, but look at it, i love this blocky mess, ahh" FF7 just copy/pasted a lot of things from FF6 and because FF6 was worse when it comes to graphics, nobody wants to acknowledge that the only original thing FF7 has is its blocky 3D graphics. Now that being said FF8 is more of a true "sequel".

Also screw Sephiroth, such a mamma's boy... Clowns are THE shit XD
