Shiva was not killed. Kali was soo carried away by her dance that only her husband could stop it before the world was destroyed so he lay in her path and when she put her foot on him she stopped and stuck her tongue out in surprise hence the pictures of Kali with her tongue out.

@mistycat1 I love India and Indian culture even though I am an American. I wrote a story about an American girl names Beth who becomes the goddess Demeter.  She meets a girl who name is Sephonie Dugra gives up her change to become the goddess Durga in order protect her. Beth learns who Sephonie really is when she sees her dance as Durga in High School.

Kali was about to destroy the world when Shiva challenged her to a dance contest. They kept matching each other’s dance moves until Shiva spun around on his penis. He said "You Got Served Girl" and disappeared in a puff of smoke.

@camaxtle Despite centuries of Invasions, rule, every attempt by Muslims and Christians India remains Hindu. Islam and Christ both failed to destroy Hindu gods...Even today they are mad as hell on their failure:)
