guys, the name of the tournament is taji legacy. that doesn't mean they're using tai chi in the match. ng family martial arts guy al chen is probably using choy lee fut. but i can't tell what the guy with the red gloves is using.

Certainly an aspect of Tai Chi. Most people think Tai Chi practitioners are somewhat old and only move slowly. It is a martial art and there are only so many ways you can hit someone.

This is true, I've been practising Taijiquan and Bagua for over 15 years for the martial side and this isn't using taiji principles.

Why the title... taiji? this is external kick boxing if anything. Makes you wonder why people train forms and principle and then resort to fighting like a kick boxer?

Its a tournament in Dallas called "Taiji Legacy" and we are competing in the full contact portion commonly referred to as San Shou or Sanda hope that makes more sense.
