großartig! vor dir hab ich rießen respekt vor dir, die meisten machen es mit so einem bogen,da ises ja einfach , aber alleine mit der hand das zu machen erfordert mehr arbeit. toll^^

The Yucca plant works best to make a hand drill IMO. Thats what the Indians used. It has spiny leaves and one peice of wood that grows in the middle. find a dead one break it off and it works great.

Der Bohrer ist aus Buche, die Spitze des Bohres und das Brett sind aus Pappel oder Limba, Beides hat funktioniert. Ich habe ungefähr 2 Wochen geübt bis ich es so wie im Video konnte. Hat mich einige Blasen gekostet. Dann hatte ich richtig derbe Hornhaut in beiden Handflächen.

do you get blisters on your palms when you first learn?

Yes, when I tried it for the first time I had so much blisters that I had to stop it for one week. I had two long aching oval blisters in both hands(I tried it with the wrong wood and too often). After the week I learned it and then I got cornea (practised this kind of firemaking 10 times a day) and had never problems with aching hands.
