I've also a "marshall JMP-1", but it sounds different to yours.

My sound is thin, your sound is fat!

My JMP-1 setting is:

OD2, Bass Shift, Gain = 10, Bass =6, Middle =3, Treble =6, Presence =6.

What setting do you use?
