Im so sorry that people of the future do not value the lives of all the people dying and suffering right now. @ TheGrinninMan, re check your history codex's, Im not a time traveler but I think you may have missed the volcano's popping, tidal waves, earth quakes, nuclear contamination of the whole earth - we are right now "around 2012" and many people have died (and still dying) from natural and man made disasters worldwide.

@eternalguidance We have detected entire "branches" disappearing, and we have concluded that someone or something altered their timeline, thus negating it. For this very reason, we are forbidden to actively influence any prior timeline. We are only passive observers. Trying to learn from our mistakes to stop history from repeating itself. But don't despair. You speak of advanced beings...and I will just say that the best things are yet to come for humanity.

@eternalguidance The science of time travel is very complex, even my people do not fully understand how time travel actually works. But we do know that "time" is like a very ancient tree that branches out to infinity. Each branch represents a different timeline, a "parallel dimension". We can travel to a point anywhere along the branch, but we cannot alter it. If we attempt to alter the branch in any way, we are essentially cutting the branch, destroying that entire timeline.

I'm not exactly widely religious...however, I believe that no one can truly know of our expiration date, aside from whatever higher power that there may be.

Most religions say that humans were made in the image of "God", however, that does not mean that we were to share the same exact knowledge as him. There's a difference between the Gods that we PRETEND to be, and the Gods that there (possibly) ARE. There's no chemical formula for the answer to life. We, humans, are the Prosthetic Dieties.

@TheGrinninMan - I can only HOPE that you are right. But according to Isaac Newton, one of the greatest Physicists of History - is predicting End Time for 2065. Newton was obsessed by End Time Prophecies and intensely studied and made many mathematical calculations based on the BOOK OF DANIEL from the Old Testament. But as the Bible says - NO ONE KNOWS THE DAY OR THE HOUR, NETIHER THE ANGELS NOR THE SON, EXCEPT GOD HIMSELF. I pray that God loves the Human Race and that we are saved.
