did anyone notice in the manga when tobi took danzo to his laboratory to take his sharingan, that in the background of the laboratory that he had shelves of bodies and sharingans. remember one part of show his took his mask off and say time to get the rinnegan. my point is he just he is doing alot of experimenting in his lab like orichmaru . if it true about about the external magenkyo sharinigan we will see on saskue and learn the secert that kabto show him about a dead body that only tobi know

Also, in Chapter 458 (5 Kage Summit) Danzo suggests 4 people with enough power to control the tailed beasts. Madara Uchiha, 1st Hokage Hashirama, 4th Mizukage Yagura, and Killer Bee (8 tails host). Another thing to note is that they also talk about how it was the Mizukage's country that the Akatski had originally formed and the 5th Mizukage admits that it seemed like the 4th was being controlled by someone.

All Obito want is to protect his love ones, he told Kakashi :

after Kakashi lose his eye, Obito got the sharingan and killed the enemy ninja saying "I will protect my friends!" (conti)

@USanimeMatthew it's because untill project tsuki no me is compleat he doesnt want anyone to know that uchiha maddara is alive and most of the people who did know died before getting the chance to tell anyone. tobi is Maddara in Obito's body.

@Xyf3rse After the death of sasori,madara masquerades as tobi & gets partnered to deidara.its unclear why he hides himself in the shadows of akatsuki only now after the death of deidara does he reveal himself to the remaining akatsuki members.That is what i think of who tobi is. Pretty clear why tobi looks like obito with the bolts all over his body and why he also claims to have madara uchihas power. And for his sharingan,it could be a mix of obitos normal shariggan and madaras MS on the right

tobi is madara uchiha. he was the leader of the uchiha clan before there were hidden villages.he summoned the 9 tail & fought against the first hokage for right to rule.the truce between the senjuu & uchiha formed the begining of konohagakure no sato or the village hidden in the leaves.later he returned with the 9 tail & attacked the village in retrobution but the first hokage stopped him.madara, it is believed,died & was resurected by orochimaru in his endless pursuit of the sharingan.

i think madara is tobi cause after itachi KILLS HIM SELF tobi talks with sasuke and tells him that he is madara AND sasuke's sharingan turns to mangekyo and then tobi (madara)says that itachi gave his powers to sasuke and that the mangekyo has made to be anabled after seeing hes sharingan (why would it activate if it was obito?)

well i want everyone to know my theory so listen closely: Madara uchiha was from a time that not even jaraya was born, hes frigging old yakno whutimean when a person thinks of himself high and mighty they taljk somtimes in third person (wich explain why he said madara uchihas power) also in Naruto taking a body and inserting ur life in it is pretty easy if u ask me... sooo what im saying is that maybe he transfered his body to obitos just for keeps? havent u guys thought of that?
