Seriously, do read the comic. THAT was brilliant. The movie was a watered-down crapfest in comparison. But I have to admit, a guilty pleasure watered-down crapfest :)

@ShakespeareHamlet no people are too fucking stupid to pick a book , read it and then make a mediocre movie out of it. the cast was good but the script was very weak. and im not a hater , ive watched it 2 or 3 times but it cant be compared to v for vendetta or any other film interpretation of Alan Moore's work. it was a bit nive if they had a better script and a director like Zach Snyder or Terry Gilliam then it would have been a masterpiece.

Exactly what I was thinking. In fact, I think the critics didn't even know these characters existed until this movie. Maybe they should go make a sequel anyway since it's pretty obvious why none of the brainless critics liked such an excellent film.

I'm surprised Stuart Townsend never became more popular. He's good looking and a good actor two qualities you need to have to become famous, and still he never really did.
