Man shot dead on the eve of wedding day

A man was shot dead on the eve of his wedding. 27 year old Alex Mwaura, son of former Defence P.S Zachary Mwaura was gunned down by unknown assailants just hours before his wedding which was to take place today in Nairobi. The motive of the killing is unclear as the gunmen never stole anything from the deceased.

I sympathise with the family. But what do you expect when the good for nothing police cant even protect their own? Their bosses are getting fat in their offices knowing their jobs are secure as long as they can please the appointing master. The wananchi are on their own but they still pay for these dummies' paychecks. Kenya police is a liability and should have been devolved to allow for people to engage their own security at the local level and be protected by individuals answerable to them
