So I see value in both and that if someone were to train only one exclusively, they would be limiting their training.
This is a nice pattern. My issue with the modern ITF is one of disappointment. When TKD and ITF were first coming into their own, one of its shining attributes was that it emphasized natural movement, unlike the stiff rigidity of its predecessors (karate). However, modern ITF practitioners now move more roboticly than karate practitioners. They work so hard and do so many awkward mechanics just to achieve a sine wave, &c. I think the ITF TKD of the late 70's early 80's was the pinnacle.
