  • @droidsURlooking4 At the same time though, doing it in a controlled precise manner such as modern ITF does helps to develop the proper strength and coordination (neural pathways) that can then be applied through other drills that use more natural movement. So I see value in both and that if someone were to train only one exclusively, they would be limiting their training.

  • @tkdleeds Show us what it SHOULD look like then..........Didn't think so...

  • @tkdleeds its got to be like a picture.

  • @JPITFTKD

Flow like a butterfly sting, like a bee.

  • he is so not good lol works like a robot.

  • i know its probably just him being in the OMFG im at the worlds!! mindset but he needs to relax! everything else was perfect!

  • This is a nice pattern. My issue with the modern ITF is one of disappointment. When TKD and ITF were first coming into their own, one of its shining attributes was that it emphasized natural movement, unlike the stiff rigidity of its predecessors (karate). However, modern ITF practitioners now move more roboticly than karate practitioners. They work so hard and do so many awkward mechanics just to achieve a sine wave, &c. I think the ITF TKD of the late 70's early 80's was the pinnacle.

  • AWESOME! Greetings from Scotland
