  • using that ehem "shutter" will give to blurry images!

use a finger and duct tape the camera to something!

  • @panzarw Yes, always tape the camera down to avoid blur. Using a finger works well especially in conjuction with this shutter, place finger over the shutter, open it, remove finger when ready, put finger back, close shutter. The risk when using a finger is that over the course of a roll you accidently push crud into the pinhole and block it. I tend to use the finger method just for very short exposures, everything else just tape down and use a slide shutter, my images are very sharp.

  • I had recently made a matchbox pinhole camera, it was a lot of fun to make, my suggestion is to open and close the shutter as quickly as possible. I had over exposed images with anything that was between 1-2 seconds.

  • @PureEntertainmentVid It depends on (1) the light available when you take the photo and (2) the film speed used. 1-2 seconds is great outside in good light with fast film like ISO400. Indoors will need far longer.

  • thts rlly cool how would u develop the pictures? and how many times do you wind the film after each picture

  • how can you see the picture.

  • how to see the picture?

  • @thechurchofdave This video was originally uploaded cos someone asked me for a better explanation of how to use it than I'd provided at the matchboxpinhole. com website. If you want to see matchbox pinhole photos, just go to flickr and search... there are currently over 6000 in the matchbox pinhole group, plenty to choose from! :-)

  • I don't see the point of showing a camera without showing pictures it took.

  • @alspix thx for the explanations but I'm not a noob in photography!

And by the way its a very nice little present =D

as in one exposure camera with a little text on the back how to use it.
