I was reading a chapter of Screw Cupid when an question hit me. Who makes the first move in the 21rst century a female or a male. Has the Roles Changed???

I was riding on the train a couple of months ago, and there was this beautiful young lady I came across. At the very beginning of the train ride, I had observed her looking at me, but thought nothing of it until we got off the train, then we got on a second train together, but before we got on that train. She was hinted to be to talk to her, I thought to myself ''she can make the first move'' in a way to break the ice, but no I assumed she wanted me to make the move. I regret not talking 2 her

@kenasmaraaddis thank you for giving the breakdown, This is what exactly happened to me a couple of months ago, this girl gave me all those indications, the vibe was there and everything. and I still didn't have the guts to say something which I am still kicking myself, She was definitely one of a kind.

I believe the guy should ask the girl out first. Because if a female likes a guy she gives him signals that she likes him. The guy should be able to pick up on the signals if a girl likes him or not. If she constantly sits next to him,blushes around him, and always want to start a conversation.

I think its cool when a female makes the first move. But just like when a guy approaches you, it also depends on her approach and how she carries herself. If a female makes the first move but she looks or sounds like she just tries to talk to anyone, then it really does not hold to much value. But when you have a woman who is more reserved but she is going out of her comfort zone to talk to you thats a plus. Furthermore, it makes a woman stand out because there are plenty of women who wont.
