In general, girls like it when boys pull out chairs for them before they try to sit down so they aren't stealing the chair, or opening the door and holding it open. Acting like they can do something we can't is when the chivalry turns to arrogance.

I think the problem is we girls today (as a whole) confuse being a gentleman with being sexist. I have no problem when guys hold doors open for me or stand up when I walk in/leave, but I don't like when they try to insist on doing work for me when I'm perfectly capable of it. They have a fine line to try and walk since sometimes we can't make up our minds.
