  • Before the Beethoven concerto, this one was considered to be the most difficult to play on the keyboard. I spoke to Pearman who also has recorded this version and he said it was so hard to play. In this performance the artist plays a very fast tempo showing great vertuosity as well as superb musicianship.

  • This would make a perfect sinfonia concertante if you add a viola to play the left hand of the harpsichord.
