He is revolutionary not just his ideas, and a good revolution it would be to

  • Ron Paul 2007: "I'd be terrified they'd give us both." (referring to sales tax and income tax.

    Herman Cain 2011: "9-9-9!!!!"

  • @tob11 ...have it as your general attitude, in re personal genuineness, that you "normally hate that about people" ?, with a brief explanation please. If so, do you also ordinarily see personal PHONINESS as " a plus" in people ? [Haha : ) ]. Again, Toberses, I'd like to respectfully suggest [my opinion] that if your "i normally hate that about people" comment's meant to be an attempt @ clever sarcasm, it REALLY doesn't work &'s REALLY "trying too hard": That's just 1 man's opinion, though. : )

  • @tob11 "He's so incredibly genuine & i normally hate that about people" I of course find your "i normally hate that about people" absolutely baffling, if taken literally, which I think there's "some" reason to do, in the context of what you follow it with. On the other hand, I think perhaps this's your idea of clever sarcasm [i.e.- OF COURSE you like genuneness, as you also like backing up with facts, etc] If so, I think you're being "too cute by half". Can you clear up if you REALLY [Contin.]

  • @comlien it doesn't go to the banking elites, it goes in the pockets of the massive bureaucracy. the money comes from the banking elites I.E the Federal reserve who prints money and charges the US for the money it prints, and as it prints more money than we produce it devalues the money making our money worth less and less, so the they raise taxes to assure the bureaucracy "the takers" continues to make more than the producers!

  • For those who misunderstood his point. Ron Paul will get rid of income tax and replace it with NOTHING! He will cut spending to the point where we'll need minimum taxes to fund the Government programs. His comment on the Fair Tax in this video was if he were given the only 2 options Fair Tax or Income Tax he would choose the fair tax over the other. He says he does not want the fair tax system. Again he will replace the income tax with NOTHING!

  • Ron Paul Cultist are just as much mindless sheep as Democrats and Republicans who are too blind to see that the same corporatist own both parties. Ron Paul's America is counter corporatist, but it's not a good alternative, why are out only options an economic social darwinist and two corporate shills? Can't we have a third way? I say third way because Ron Paul and the Corporate Rep/Dem Drones are the only two ways presented as an option.

  • So basically Ron Paul wants to get rid of the income tax which effects the top 2% of society the most, and replace it with a sales tax which effects the rest of us the most. Oh wow I wouldn't have ever guessed an economic social darwinist and a business tycoon would be opposed to the income tax, which is clearly constitutional according to the eighth section of the very first article of the constitution.

Tax the poor, give tax break to the wealthy, that's Ron Paul's plan

  • Why did he not when in 2008? He definitely NEEDS to win 2012. He thinks the most logically out of all the candidates, Republican or Democrat.

  • would the "fair tax" system also charge 23% for every stock and bond purchased? if the system charged for this as well as purchasing other goods and services than i would be more supportive of it. i think that this system would favor the rich a little more already, but if they couldn't invest in banks (because banks are being taxed for investments) and they couldn't invest in stocks while dodging taxes than i would be more supportive of it.
