I understand it tool Richard over 1 1/2 years to complete this album. It was painful, brought up tremendous emotions and he still misses Karen to the core of his being. I respect his work, his dedication and his love he holds for his beloved Karen. We could all learn about love, loss and the bond of family form this fine man.

Agree with you too. Who wouldn't do anything for someone you love? There comes to a point when a person can do only as much for another and will have no control over other else's mind and body. I'm very sure Richard did what he can to the max. Blaming other people makes things worst. Let's keep the good memoirs of the Carpenters together and support Richard in all his works. Thanks to people who upload their videos as they keep their songs in our hearts and mind, just like the good old days!

Nice video. It was good for Richard and all of us that he had those work leads sung by Karen which he orchestrated and arranged, and from which he produced complete songs. I think those photos of Karen and Richard taken by Annie Leibovitz for the July 4, 1974 cover of "Rolling Stone", where she's wearing the floppy hat, are her cutist; I'd like to see all of them....

What a lovely and fitting tribute for the sister of Richard Carpenter. He is a fine pianist/composer/arranger/prod­ucer. But no matter how many years go by, I always feel a tug in my heart to hear or see him perform alone, without Karen. They really were born to make music together (his own words). Her voice complemented his arragements and vice-versa --- together they were a multimillion-dollar duo.
