For the last two months I've been paying many working visits to our nations capital: Canberra. This comes as a surprise since I thought Canberra was bit of a hole as it was, but no, they've sent me there to dig a few more!

Why is Canberra a hole? Allow me to explain...

  • Never been to Canberra but I can assure you getting around DC can't be much better. We have some of the worst traffic in the nation, same round abouts all over the place, and a grid system with major roads going off in random angles named after states. To top it off 3/4 of DC is pretty dangerous and run down.

  • @MakingTheMetalBand ... Mmm, that's not particularly encouraging news but at least you've got the illusion of grandeur and prosperity going to the rest of the world :-)

  • Haha Dazz, good one. So if I can I'll be avoiding that "hole" and spending my time elsewhere when I'm going down-under.. ;-D Thanks bro ;)

  • @perrrry ... Cheers Perrry! All things considered though, it's pretty easy to avoid. Blink and you'll miss it :-)

  • Nicely done, without you the only knowledge I would have of Australia would be Road Warrior landscapes, with a men at work/midnight oil/AC DC soundtrack, populated mostly by kangaroos, and koalas.

  • @Iamseanisme ... Haha, if only it were true :-) Cheers Sean!

  • @AtheistAussie ... Are you now? Well this just got awkward... Or shall I simply suggest we go for coffee next time you're in Canberra or Sydney :-) Hehe, yeah I've been away from the YouTubing for a little too long, and have some serious catching up to do. Any favourite recent works of yours you'd like to point me in the general direction of?

  • @Mellybubz ... I didn't know that! I did know, however, that he also designed my home town of Griffith NSW... Funnily enough, also a town designed around a big roundabout... True story :-)

  • Nice to see you back Dazza.. giving public servants the respect they deserve. Did I mention I'm one of them? Oh wait... uh... great video.

  • Did you know Walter Burley Griffin also designed Oak Flats... funnily enough a town designed around a big round a bout... true story!
