Lions feeding on a wildebeest in the Serengeti (graphic!)

We came across this female lion with her 4 cubs earlier in the day. Mother was stalking a herd of wildebeest and zebra while the cubs were frolicking in the grass, having a good old time. They were still about 100 meters away from the herd, and our guide said it would be a good 6 hours before they go for the kill, so we left for lunch and a nap.

When we returned 7 hours later, this is what we encountered.
