Interesting to hear all of you who want Rod singing. Rod does'nt sing well anymore, and I think he is a total sellout. Screwed this band, sang a bunch of top-40 and even a bunch of old standards. He is vain and washed-up. Granted instrument players don't have to worry about age like a singer does. Rod is always out of breath live, and his range is gone. Mick is nailing it. RIP Ronnie Lane, I think your the greatest.

@sjmorris1966 'Thirty years' suggests that all you've got to compare it to is the records, which are magnificent; seeing them live was something else. I saw them several times in the early 70s and I can tell you for nothing...this ain't a patch on it, not by a long shot. In addition, I was wide awake in the 80s PhilipK; no thanks to Simply Red.

Ronnie Wood was on the best form i've ever seen! Rod could not of hit the notes like the ginger lad did,consistently and accurately,all night!.Glen matlock gelled superb as you would expect of a lifelong Ronnie Lane fan! and Kenney and Mac were the superglue to bond it all together! All in all a much appreciated and authentic experience that I never thought would happen! I'll get me coat!....

@PhilipK100 Mick Hucknall is not a relative unknown upstart. did you sleep through the 80's and 90's? That is a truly gifted R & B singer who fronted the band Simply Red.
