@kingofskateop man the am is the 6 which leads back to the 2 you're not supposed to end on am7

@kingofskateop if you listen to what he says i assume you are refering to where he plays Dm9 not Am7 and the chords for a II-V-I progression in the key of C are Dm7-G7-Cmaj7 there is no Am7 chord played

Am7 is a barre without the 5th string, so its played with only 2 fingers... Damn he is putting all of his fingers to play that!!! And the guitar is out of tune... also the key of C should be a CM7, G7 and Dm7 not Am7...
Watch proper tutorials please like Jimmy Bruno's or Joe Pass'...

Cmaj use F#-7b5,A-7
Dmin7 use G7,Ebdim
G7 use Bb7,Db7,Ab -maj7,D-maj7
