Minecraft Mine Cart Track Switcher

This is my Mine Cart Track Switcher that I built. Sorry about the video stuttering from time to time. fraps was being unkind. The actual mechanism is a 6x4x2 device which is really compact. Then all you need is room for the wires and repeaters. I built this underground because on almost every other video I've seen the workings have been above ground and someone always asks how it should be hidden or comments on the amount of room it takes up. I made a large chamber purely for inspection.

During construction of this example I discovered that sand while it looks nice is not the best choice for a play area if you're going to need to tunnel underneath it..

The texture pack I'm using is a standard 16x16 one called Isabella.
