Via ferrata is a fantastic mountain activity, using the fixed iron ladders and steps you can experience the thrills of climbing in an easier environment. The first via ferratas were built in the Dolomite mountain region of Italy during the First World War, to aid the movement of mountain infantry. Now in abundance around the world they can be enjoyed as a recreational sport by the whole family.

  • This is a brilliant experience. The thrill of rock climbing and the vertical drops associated, without the skill or dangers of free rock climbing. There are still some very energetic routes not for the beginner but this route is amazing in a wonderful setting. Highly recommended. Good video!
