I am a brazilian musician, and I've always found this song the most beautiful of them all. I know it sounds odd but I can spot Mahler in it.

I first heard this song when I was a child playing my parent;s 78 records. This was in an Alec Templeton Album along with "Rhapsody in Blue" Both of these have been my favorites for almost 60 years.
