66 year old woman has triplets

A 66 Year-Old Woman Gives Birth to TRIPLETS! After nearly 44 years of a childless married life, a 66 year-old woman in Haryana has given birth to triplets, becoming possibly the oldest woman to do so.

Bhateri Devi gave birth to the triplets - two boys and a girl - May 29 at National Fertility Centre here through In-vitro Fertilisation (IVF) technique, officials at the centre said on Sunday, adding she was possibly the oldest known mother in the world to give birth to triplets.




I know that having a child and becoming a parent is a precious and priceless gift. But at the age of 66 years old, WHY? What are the chances of watching your precious children grow up, graduate high school, get married and have children of their own. Isn't having a child at such an age, SELFISH?

I'm a young mother, almost 35, and on certain days I have a hard time keeping up with my children, family and all of the activities that come along with being a wife and parent. How on earth can they manage?
