it gets rid of a liquid substance that lets the parts fall off the moled it makes it slipry

its called wet sanding.. a tecnique used 2 paint with a real fine grit paper. an the water makes it even finer... thus results in a super smooth finish.. mostly used on cars

Yeah same here
Just a question but I tryed sanding my HG Mk II and the color like kinda faded out like it lightend
washing them or putting them in water is my first time to see a way of sanding..Oo
