If 1 person in 100,000 complains about the music then unfortunately the majority wins... FYI, the cameras only pick up the engine sound on dock shots... and this video is full of engine sound... want more?... then buy a turbine boat, you gotta pay to play.

You can achieve 300-400 Mph in a boat. ..Maybe 450-500, but at that speed, aerodynamics and resistance change and become very interesting and annoying. Most of it comes down to hull/body design and composition, the rest is peanuts really..... The only problem is that no one really wants to invest a great deal of money into a high speed experimental watercraft..so, I guess that's an idea I'm going to have to shelf for the moment. *sigh*

@alvinski100 No such thing as too much power. Design and aero/hydrodynamic flaws however..you know if I had a dollar for everyone I've come across...

@mazstro Negative. Power to weight ratio and water displacement are accurate and efficient.

However, you require some small modifications. The vehicle is designed to ride on air and water, you can alter the trajectory and angle of the nose by adding small ailerons..somewhat of flying a water plane.....lol If you want to be really sneaky, you'll coat your hull in Teflon and add more than 1 pair of ailerons. ;)

great video i love those turbine boats, there is one video i have seen that is from the inside boat miss geico at the start of some race i found it on the home page of miss geico race team but i think they have removed it. Does anyone know where i can find it ? i just love the sound of those engines reving up :)

@tanksta0wns Drag boats will crash if they hit a 1 foot wake but most OFFSHORE power boats will not. There built to handle rough water and must won't run like they normaly would if there isn't any chop.
