Gus & Olivia: We All Need What We Need (Part 1)

In her room, Olivia wakes Gus up and offers him breakfast. He's in a hurry to get away so that he can represent Alan at the trial. "Gotta make sure Emma's grandfather doesn't go to prison," he says. As he goes to the courthouse, he runs into Josh and gets an update about Will and Cassie. He tells Josh that he has to do the right thing by his father, particularly since everyone has jumped ship on him. After Gus walks off, Josh goes over to Jeffrey's office and leaves him a note when Jeffrey suddenly walks in. He doesn't have time to deal with Will today, he has to put Alan away. The feds have him for a whole host of things, Jeffrey explains.
Olivia is going through her old clothes with her daughter. Ava doesn't want to leave her alone but Olivia assures her that she'll be alright and sends her off. Olivia walks down the hall and looks in on a bride preparing for her wedding. She smiles and blushes, but in a sad way.
Meanwhile, at the mansion, Beth arrives to see Alan. He informs her that the entire family has been betrayed and someone is trying to take them all down. Only a Spaulding would know enough to have done this, he warns. She insists that Phillip would never do such a thing, but Alan is sure that he has tricked them all. Lizzie listens in and decides it's time to go.
Lizzie goes to Bill's room at The Beacon and prepares his room for a romantic surprise. After a knock at the door, she's annoyed to have Ava walk in. She's not impressed by the flowers and champagne on the bed. She tells Lizzie that she's been sleeping with Bill while Lizzie's been away. At least she knows where she stands with him and doesn't think he's a hero, Ava says. Before leaving, she takes her bra out from under Bill's bed. Lizzie is disgusted and starts to drink the champagne.
