Tutorial: How to Depot MAC Eyeshadow (without heat!)

The method I use to depot MAC eyeshadows so they can be stored in palettes. This can save you lots of space, and it can also save you money (if your local MAC store accepts the eyeshadow containers without the metal pans for B2M)!
Materials used:
- Pliers
- Wire cutters
- Rubbing alcohol
- Qtips and cotton pads
- Candle (optional...only if you want to remove the original label/sticker off the eyeshadow pot)

@ericaleung13 but you broke the container the pan was in will the mac store still except it for return?

@XxoOlisaOox my mac store doesnt have them in pans so we just buy singles, depot them and when you have 6 empty packages return them for a free lipstick :)

yes this worked so well i depoted two eyeshadows useing this method! :D

@XxoOlisaOox Not all colors come in pans, and not all Mac stores carry the refills, so a lot of people don't know about it and already have a collection of Mac in plastic containers. She actually mentions all this toward the end of the video. :)

@XxoOlisaOox You can't get every color just as a pan.

@XxoOlisaOox So you can pay a few extra bucks and when you take the empty container back they give you a free one.

Some MAC stores (like mine) dont have them in pan form but you can return the pots for a free shadow :)
