This particular sample is probably not very illustrative, but the most touching Eponine to me is Jessica Snow-Wilson.
I can't believe no one mentioned her, she's simply fantastic.

Did they add in that orchestration of the horns doubling the vocal line on I HAVE NEVER later on? I don't hear it on the OLC or OBC recordings...

Gemma Wardle. remember seen (and listen!) her 1997. She makes me favor eponie, genius voice, beautyful acting. It was a great show in the London Palace Theatre, the best i`ve ever seen.

It makes it difficult to choose a favorite especially when it goes on forever and ever. 1st foreign languages?
2nd repeated singers?
3rd extremely static-y singers?
Those made it hard to decide. I wish they would slow it down a notch. Ex: Samantha barks, Lea salonga

Musical theatre singers always sound like this, they have to act as well. However Ma -Anne Dionisio stood out with Francis Rufelle and possibly Jessica Snow-Wilson

No. Not for Les Miserables anyway (and it's called the Laurence Olivier awards) she won that and a Tony for Miss Saigon. Frances Rufelle won a tony for playing Eponine. I wouldn't say all of them sound the same, some sound similar, bu a few stick out entirly
